Terms of Service
These terms are a working draft.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Outvers. By creating an account, browsing, or making a Booking, you agree to these terms.
Working draft — pending final legal review. This document reflects how Outvers actually operates today, but the final wording is being reviewed by counsel before launch and may change.
Outvers is a marketplace, not the provider of Experiences
Outvers operates an online marketplace that connects Customers with independent third-party Vendors. The adventure Experiences listed on Outvers — rafting, trekking, paragliding, diving and more — are owned, run and delivered by those Vendors, who are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Outvers. Outvers acts as an intermediary that lists Experiences, takes Bookings and processes payments on the Vendor's behalf. Outvers does not itself operate any Experience.
Each Vendor is responsible for the safety, quality, accuracy and lawful conduct of its own Experiences, including holding the licences, certifications and insurance its activity requires. Outvers verifies Vendors through a tiered KYC process (Phone verified, Identity verified, Business verified) but does not guarantee any Vendor's conduct or the outcome of any Experience.
Your account
You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into a contract to make a Booking, and you must meet any age, fitness or eligibility requirements an Experience states.
Bookings and payment
When you make a Booking you enter into a contract with the Vendor for that Experience; Outvers facilitates that contract and the payment. Outvers uses a partial-pay model: by default a 25% Advance is captured at the time of Booking and the remaining 75% is captured automatically 24 hours before the Experience starts. For Experiences starting within 48 hours, or priced above ₹25,000, the full amount is captured upfront. Prices shown include applicable taxes as displayed at checkout.
Cancellations and refunds
Each Experience carries one of three cancellation presets — Flexible, Moderate or Strict — chosen by the Vendor and locked at the time of Booking. Inside-policy cancellations are refunded automatically; outside-policy requests are reviewed as a Dispute. If a Vendor cancels your Booking, you always receive a full refund. The full schedule, an interactive calculator and refund timing are on our refund and cancellation page.
Permits and eligibility
Some Experiences require a permit — for example certain high-altitude treks or protected areas. Where a permit is required, Outvers surfaces the requirement and links to the official process, but you are responsible for obtaining the required permit yourself. Outvers is not a permit broker and does not obtain permits on your behalf.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, post unlawful or misleading content, attempt to circumvent payment, or interfere with other users. We may suspend or remove access for conduct that breaches these terms or applicable law.
Liability
Adventure activities carry inherent risks. Because Experiences are run by independent third-party Vendors, your contract for the activity itself is with the Vendor. To the extent permitted by law, Outvers is not liable for the acts, omissions or outcomes of any Vendor or Experience. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be notified on the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at the seat stated in our final published terms.
